In this speech, Rocio wanted to make clear two things, that were:
- If there is anyone that is studying this career without an actually interesting and this person don't really want to be a teacher as a vocation, people should leave the career and do another thing that he/she really loves.
- The other aspect that she talk about was that as teachers, we must treat our students with equality and always with respect.
We agree with these two things, because we think that work as a teacher is not an easy job, you have to be very patient and respectful with everybody, and children depend on you about what are they going to learn, not only the contens, but the values too. So if you really want to be a teacher you should have clear that your teahing is going to be the guide of a lot of pupils and you really have to like doing it. With repect to the other aspect, we also agree with she, because we all want to be treated as well as our classmates, we don't want differences, so, in our opinion, the most fair is to treat everybody with repect and with equality.
Furthermore, she explained us that each child is a different world, and we should try to understand each one and to value each different situation. And it is something which we completely agree with, because the diferents behaviours that children have are due to their personal situation, and we should not judge them.
We think it has to be very difficult and we are very interested about learning how to educste people with disorder properly.
At the end of the conference, we did a wonderful mural in which we shared our opinion about the education.
Education has to make a big change and we think if we continued like this we will be able to achive it. It was an amazing speech, and we think that all of us had a very good experience, thanks.
